Pokémon Dust

Made at the start of my 2nd year at my game design school, by a team of 4 game designers and 5 game artists over 11 days. I was the programmer.

Our assignment was to combine the Borderlands and Pokémon franchises. We chose to retain Borderlands' visual presentation, environments and first-person elements while setting them in Pokémon's universe. Pokémon's team-managing aspect was converted into an autonomous "squad" of pokémons which can be captured, healed and leveled by fighting.

Sadly, we didn't have anybody on our team who knew how to animate in such a short time, and we couldn't use animation websites like Mixamo due to most of our Pokémons being very different from humans.
